Acceptable Use
Policy
The system regulations and marketing boundaries governing access to Compass — list sourcing, anti-scraping, and ad network compliance.
Effective date: August 3, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy defines the system regulations and marketing boundaries governing access to Compass.
1. Data Integrity and Sourcing Constraints
- Natively Derived Lists Only: Campground operators are strictly prohibited from uploading cold-scraped contact registries, purchased email lists, or data-broker spreadsheets into the Compass environment. All list components must contain zero cold-sourced contacts and be natively derived from guests who have explicitly opted-in to receive communications from your property.
- CAN-SPAM Obligations: All commercial marketing distributions pushed via Compass systems must show a functional, obvious one-click unsubscribe tracking link and include a valid, physical mailing address belonging to the campground property.
2. Anti-Scraping and Asset Protection
Subscribers may export their completed campground templates for operational deployment, but are strictly barred from using scrapers, automated extraction bots, or system miners to harvest our design directory, underlying code files, or font repositories. You may not redistribute, sub-license, clone, or repurpose Compass libraries to construct a competing marketing SaaS or design template engine.
3. Ad Network Policy Alignment and Special Target Categories
- Network Enforcement: Subscribers must maintain compliance with Google Ads Policies and Meta Advertising Standards. Waypoints Digital LLC reserves the right to terminate platform access immediately for any customer whose ad configurations trigger structural API bans or persistent safety blocks.
- Meta Special Ad Category Adherence: Users assume complete accountability for designating their marketing targets accurately. RV resort promotional placements must not be classified under "Housing" target screens unless they meet precise statutory real estate criteria, and "Employment" targeting tools must only be triggered for real payroll hiring campaigns.
