Data Deletion
Instructions
How to request deletion of your data, including anything obtained through your connected Meta (Facebook) and Google accounts.
Effective date: August 20, 2026
Waypoints Digital LLC ("Waypoints," "we," "us," or "our") operates Waypoints Compass ("Compass"). This page explains how to request deletion of your data, including any data obtained through your connected Meta (Facebook) and Google accounts.
1. Delete your connected ad-account data (fastest)
If you connected a Meta or Google ad account to Compass, you can disconnect it at any time from Settings → Connections in the Compass dashboard. Disconnecting immediately revokes Compass's access, and all cached access tokens and data obtained from that platform's API are permanently deleted from our active systems within 24 hours.
2. Request deletion of your account data
To request deletion of your Compass account data — including your business profile, saved designs, uploaded content, and any connected-account data — email us at connect@waypointsdigital.com from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." We will verify the request, delete the associated data within 30 days, and confirm by email once it's complete.
3. What we delete
- Access tokens for your connected Meta and Google accounts.
- Data retrieved via the Meta Marketing API and Google Ads API on your behalf.
- Your Compass account profile and administrative details (names, phone, property address).
- Your saved templates, designs, and uploaded content.
- Guest contact lists you uploaded (subject to Section 5).
4. What happens when you cancel
If you cancel your Compass subscription, your saved designs, account data, and contact lists are retained for a 60-day restoration window and then permanently and irreversibly purged from our systems — unless you request earlier deletion under Section 2, or retention is required by law.
5. Guest lists (data you manage for others)
Some information in Compass — the guest contact lists a campground uploads — belongs to that campground's own customers. For that data, the campground is the Data Controller and Waypoints acts only as the Data Processor. If you are an individual consumer or camper seeking deletion of your information from a campground's list, please contact that campground directly; Waypoints will provide reasonable assistance to help the campground fulfill verified requests.
