Terms of Use
The short, readable version of the ground rules for this website.
Last updated: July 27, 2026
Welcome to waypointsdigital.com. These terms are the ground rules for using our website. They’re written to be readable, but they’re still a legal agreement — so please read them. By using the site, you’re agreeing to what’s below.
Agreeing to these terms
By visiting or using waypointsdigital.com (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site. From time to time we may update these terms; when we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date, and continuing to use the Site means you accept the changes.
Who runs this site
The Site is operated by Waypoints Digital LLC (“Waypoints Digital,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Washington limited liability company owned by Traci and Greg Webel.
What this site is
The Site is a marketing and information website. It tells you about Waypoints Digital, Compass (our software product), and our website-build services, and it lets you contact us. It is not the Compass app. Compass lives at compass.waypointsdigital.com and is governed by its own separate terms.
Everything on the Site is provided for general information. We work to keep it accurate and current, but we don’t guarantee it’s complete, error-free, or always up to date. Pricing, features, and details described here may change, and nothing on the Site is a binding offer or a contract until we’ve agreed to work together in writing.
Using the site properly
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:
- Use the Site in any way that breaks a law or regulation
- Try to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any connected systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site, or introduce viruses or malicious code
- Scrape, harvest, or collect information about other users
- Copy, reproduce, or republish our content without permission (see below)
- Use the Site to send spam or to impersonate anyone
Our content and brand
Everything on the Site — the text, design, graphics, logos, the “Waypoints Digital” and “Compass” names, our brand colors and look, and the way it’s all put together — belongs to Waypoints Digital and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You’re welcome to view and share links to the Site, but you may not copy, modify, distribute, or use our content or branding for your own purposes without our written permission.
When you contact us
When you send us information through the contact form or by email, we handle it according to our Privacy Policy. Please don’t send us confidential or sensitive personal information you wouldn’t want in an email. Any ideas, feedback, or suggestions you send us, we’re free to use without any obligation to you.
Links to other sites
The Site may link to third-party websites or resources we don’t control. We provide those links for convenience — we don’t endorse them and we’re not responsible for their content or their practices. Visiting them is at your own risk.
No warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don’t warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any information on it is accurate or reliable. You use the Site at your own risk.
Limiting our liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Waypoints Digital, Traci and Greg Webel, and anyone working with us won’t be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill — arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site, even if we’ve been told such damages are possible. Where liability can’t be fully excluded, it’s limited to the greatest extent the law permits.
Your responsibility to us
You agree to cover us for any claims, losses, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) that come from your misuse of the Site or your breach of these terms.
Billing & cancellation
If you buy services from us — a website build, a care plan, or a Compass subscription — the specifics are confirmed in writing when we start working together. These are the standing rules:
- Monthly subscriptions (Compass and monthly care plans) are month to month. You can cancel anytime, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing month you’ve paid for.
- Annual care plans run through the full year you’ve paid for. They aren’t refunded mid-year — they simply don’t renew after you cancel.
- Website builds are one-time projects, billed as quoted in writing before work begins.
- Every website we build and host lives on an active care plan. If you cancel care entirely, we’ll deliver your content, photos, and brand assets — they’re always yours — and retire the site.
If a subscription price ever changes, we’ll tell you before it affects your billing.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the Site or these terms will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Washington, and you agree to that jurisdiction.
